Prior to registering for the Suncoast Blues Society International Blues Challenge Competition, please review the following:

• At least one member of the competing act must be a current member of Suncoast Blues Society
• We strongly encourage a review of the official Blues Foundation International Blues Challenge rules. Suncoast Blues Society will follow these rules for our competition.

How Do I Register for the competition?

This works best after you first sign into your Suncoast Blues Society account. From our website @Suncoast Blues Society Website. From there, click on the Shop page

Then, choose My Account and log into your account

After logging into your account, click Shop and you will see the merchandise screen. Choose the Registration item by clicking the picture

Click on Add To Cart

Your item is now in the cart. Click on View Cart and you will then Checkout

Click on Proceed To Checkout, and pay your registration fee

Congratulations! Your act is registered for the Suncoast Blues Society IBC Challenge

What Happens Next

We need some information about your act. After paying the registration fee a form will be available for download. Click HERE to Download the PDF, fill it out, and send it back to President@suncoastblues.org. 

If you have a problem downloading the form Suncoast Blues Society will email it to you.

What Are The Next Steps?

As the date of the competition nears, Suncoast Blues Society will need a stage plot for your act. We intend to quickly turn around the stage – just as happens in Memphis. Acts lose points if they are not ready to start their performance on time, and this will ensure that our judges do not penalize your act for a late start.

Suncoast Blues Society will communicate the name of the venue, date of the competition, and most important, the earliest time that we will be ready to receive acts. Your society has a lot of preparation to do at the venue site and requests that acts do not arrive until we are ready to receive them.
